Everything seems fine, but photos aren't reaching the Console.
One of three things is usually happening:
- You are shooting in RAW (when you need to be shooting JPEG)
- You are using Sync on Scan Mode
- The images actually are reaching the console, just not where you thought they would be
You are shooting in RAW (when you need to be shooting JPEG)
Double check that you are saving JPEG images. Walker will only accept JPEG images, not RAW. More on Important Camera Settings
You are using Sync on Scan Mode
If you are shooting in ‘Sync on Scan’ Tether Mode, remember that the Walker can only upload images after you have copied them from the Camera. That will only happen when you scan an ID. Please complete the session which is open and double check the Console. More on Sync on Scan Mode
The images actually are reaching the console, just not where you thought they would be
If there is still a number in the sync section on your Reader, it means that those images have not made it to the Console yet, but once Sync is showing a tick, it should mean that all the images have been uploaded.
Basically, if there is a tick it means the images are in the Console. We just need to make sure you're looking in the right place. You may be looking at the Event where you think the images should be appearing but they are not. Chances are somebody forgot to update a device allocation so they got sent to a different Event.
Go to the Device page in the ELEMENTICE™ Console and double check what Event is being shown under each image in the recent image feed. If this is not the Event you expected, you'll need to reassign the device to the correct event. See here for how to assign devices.
*If there are images in the wrong place which you need to keep, you can move the images to correct Event using the reassign tool in the Admin Gallery.
