If you are photographing an event and you don’t know who is going to be there, Gallery Cards are a great way to give guests access to their images.
All that said... if you DO know who is going to be at your event and you have their personal information, you might want to use the Attendees function to make your life easier and/or add to the customer experience of your attendees/guests.
The Attendees function gives you the freedom to name the image files based on the attendee name, simplify search functions in the Console and use sms or email to deliver links directly to the guests.
Firstly, go to the event page and select Galleries from the section header menu.
Click the Attendees tab which will appear under the ribbon menu.
From here, you have two options:
Please note: For the function to work, it’s vital that the column headers in the CSV are in EXACTLY the correct format. That is why we provide a template. You can download it and populate it with Attendee details, ready to be uploaded.
There are 9 columns in the template:
Secondary mobile number
Secondary email address
If you are using your own ID system or IDs provided by the event organiser, make sure that whatever you put in the ID column is EXACTLY what will be read by the Scanner. For example, if it is a barcode which scans as all caps, the ID must be in all caps too. If the ID you entered in the CSV was not exactly the same as what was scanned, you’ll be able to find them under Other IDs.
Once the template has been updated with event guest details, jump back to the Console and “Upload CSV” on the Event Page > Galleries > Attendees. The information from the CSV will populate the table on the console. If you left the ID field empty in the CSV, a random ID will be created for you.
There are several ways you could use this function, so it’s probably best for you to touch base with the ELEMENTICE™ team and we can help you fulfill what you’re aiming to achieve.
