How to make sure the photos you take get sent to the right place.
Assigning devices to an Event is the way the ELEMENTICE™ Platform knows how images should be sorted when they reach the Console. There are two ways of allocating devices: from the Device Settings section of a Device Page, or from the Devices Section of an Event Page.
Assigning from the Device Page
Assigning a device to an Event can only be changed when the device is turned on and connected to the Console.
With your Walker turned on, open the ELEMENTICE™ Console and click on the "Devices" tab on the top banner and select the relevant Walker.
You are now on the Device Page and can access the Device Settings section at the bottom of the page. Event is one of the configurable settings under Device Settings.
Clicking on the Event will bring up a dialogue box with this Walker pre-selected in the Device box, and an Event drop-down which allows you to select any (non-archived) Event.
Assigning from an Event Page
A device's assigned Event can only be changed when the device is turned on and connected to the Console.
With your Walker turned on, open the ELEMENTICE Console and click on "Events" tab on the top banner and select the relevant Event.
You are now on the Event Page and can access the Devices section which is bottom of the page alongside the "Event" section which will be selected by default. Once you select the Devices heading, you will be able to use the Add Device button.
Clicking Add Device will show the same 'Assign Device' dialogue box as with the Device Settings method, but this time the Event will be pre-selected and you will select the Device from a drop-down of all online Devices.
Once you've added a Device, the Devices section of the Event Page will include information about all allocated Devices including online status lights, cellular reception, battery levels and upload queue.
